Dark Clouds Covered The Eyes Of A Brother:
PAUL F. FALLAH

Barthan! Barthan! Barthan!
I called on your name three times, and there is no response.

In 2004, I was hired by the FDA as an Accountant, and to be assigned with you as my
direct boss. Without hesitation, you assigned me as a Senior Accountant in charge
of General Ledgers, and Accounts Analysis.

In less than three months, you trusted me with $25,000 Dollars to pay workshop
attendants, presenters, and rapporteurs’ for a week workshop on the growth and
direction of Post-War FDA. You also took me to your business venture on the Old
Road, and encouraged me to do business.

You resigned the Comptroller position to further your education in the USA. Upon
your returned, you visited me and expressed interest in franchising one of Total Gas
Stations, and fortunately you were awarded the Jacob Town Service Station.

We started to communicate, and even asked that I visit the Service Station in your
absence, and also provide guidance to your Junior brother who was your manager.
You also called on me to celebrate your successes. A case in point, your recruitment
as Deputy Executive Director of the IAS in 2012.

You were also instrumental getting me to be a part of the IAS and IAA, through your
encouragement to sit for the Aptitude Test.

From 2004 to your demise on that early Saturday morning, you took me as friend, brother, and Junior colleague.

EBN, as your peers and friends called you, some called you Barthan, but I always
called you DG.
As we will never see one another on this Earth, I commit your spirit to the bosom
of Abraham.
We will miss you Boss, but God loves you the best.

As you leave us to join our colleagues who predeceased us, I will forever remember
our precious time on Earth. You were a dear brother, a friend, and a leader. I
learned many good things through your guidance, and you also contributed to my
success stories at the IAA.

On behalf of my wife and I, I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Mrs. Rebecca
Nyeswa, the children, and the rest of the family in the USA and Liberia.

Sleep on Barthan, Sleep on EBN, Sleep on DG.
We will miss you, but God loves you the best.
