Tribute to a Great Boss, Emmanuel B. Nyeswa
By: Jallah B. Kollie.

Having heard about your passing greatly saddens my heart especially following the
greatness of your leadership role. You were a great boss, and will surely be missed.

I feel nostalgic and compassionate when I imagine your historic interaction and
professional working relationship.

You were a Certified Fraud Examiner, an active and supportive member of the Liberia
Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, a professional auditor,
peaceful, humble and kind hearted.

I remembered in October, 2018 prior to the conduct of the annual CPE Conference that
was conducted by the Liberia Chapter-ACFE, I engaged you and requested that you
kindly serve as one of the facilitators to our annual CPE training to enable CFEs
obtained their 20 credit hours.

Your response was very positive, but with a challenge to me, “I agreed” but “Please
go and research the material according to the topic, draft the PowerPoint
Presentation and report to my office within 5-days” The topic for your presentation
was “Ethics in an Unethical World”.

Without any hesitation, I considered the challenge, performed the research and did a
wonderful PowerPoint presentation of twenty-eight (28) slides dated October 12,
2018. Under sleepless nights, I worked and submitted your presentation within less
than 5-days on October 4, 2018 for your perusal, inputs and consideration. And from
that moment, I became to experience more challenging professional tasks from your
office.

You deployed various strategies to test the “Competence Matrix” of your employees.
You were truly a great Boss to work with, Mr. Nyeswa.

Besides being my boss and the Director General of the IAA,
You were also a true father and a genuine guidance.
You embraced everyone who came along your alleyway.
You landed helping hands to even the needed.
You were a great boss, and will surely be missed.

I feel devastated and frustrated of your demise.

On behalf of the leadership and members of the Liberia Chapter-ACFE and in my own
name, we express our deepest condolences to your lovely wife, children, and the
entire bereaved families.

Sleep on DG, Sleep on Chief, Sleep on Mr. Nyeswa, Rest In Perfect Peace EBN.
You will surely be missed.
