Tribute To My Boss:
Edwin R. Yekeh

I have known Mr. Emmanuel B. Nyeswa 9 years. He was my boss for 7 years in the Building, Internal Audit Agency. We used to call him ‘DG’, not only in the workplace, but wherever we met. My work colleagues will agree with me that Mr. Nyeswa was humble, peaceful, compassionate, kind and merciful. Those qualities came from Jesus himself. We felt comfortable, equal, and had a very good relationship with him, and he had confidence in us. We were always ready to go the extra mile when he called, especially in times of emergency in our workplace. He was a mobile person and loved to get things done, even if it took him after hours to do it. He knew he could have called on us anytime to address issues at work. Mr. Nyeswa would go the extra mile to assist you, or call one of his many friends or brothers to do the same if he can’t, just to make sure that you are comfortable. He believed in fairness. When there was a conflict he had to deal with, he used to say, “Is better we sit, discuss and find a solution than writing”. Strife was not part of his life. He had loved to entertain those around him. He was a lover of sports and his team was Liverpool “Never Walk Alone”. He brought fun and joy to us and others. He had loved to share. Those days are gone, gone but not forgotten. It’s really hard to accept sudden death like his, and we will never get accustomed to it. Gone before us too soon, DG, Boss, Daddy. Certainly, the precious memories of you will remain in our hearts. This is your time, DG; ours will surely come. In everything, we all can say, Jesus gives and takes, blessed be his holy name. The HR Section extends condolences to the Nyeswa Family.
